Guillaume is a 22 years experienced CFO in various industries and today Finance Director of Hitachi Europe Ltd in the UK. He has had an experience of launching a start-up in 2007 which lasted 2 years before running out of cash. His passion and interest in the ability to launch new companies has led him to launch HEC Alumni Ventures within the HEC Alumni network to foster and support new ventures and give them an easier access to cash, mentors and general support.

Guillaume Claire

Guillaume (HEC 2006) has been working in the private equity industry since he graduated, first in leverage finance at JP Morgan in London and then at Indigo, a pan-european mezzanine fund investing in small and mid-cap firms in LBO transactions. He joined European Capital, a private equity fund investing in equity, mezzanine and other debt instruments in pan-European LBO transactions, in 2012 as Investment Manager.

Guillaume is also the president of Afic Avenir, a club that regularly organizes conferences in Paris on private equity and venture capital related topics for junior people working in the industry.

Pénélope Liot -
Pénélope Liot

Penelope (HEC 2013) is an aspiring entrepreneur, currently in charge of marketing at the booming start-up Lima. Passionate about innovation and education, she holds a double degree from HEC Paris and Sciences Po.

She's previously worked for other French start-ups such as Lelivrescolaire.fr and at the United Nations.

Jeev Sahoo -
Jeev Sahoo

Jeev is an entrepreneur in London UK. He has founded EzeeHop (www.ezeehop.com) which provides electric cars and related sustainability/green dashboards to businesses doing pool cars, taxis and rentals and is actively growing towards creating a cleaner and greener impact on our society. He engages in coaching other business owners one day per week (www.jeev.in) helping them and their teams to perform at their peak while maintaining a balance in life. He is an MBA from HEC Paris and comes with 12 years experience in companies like Suzuki, GE, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and Hertz. He is an active investor in a few HEC Startups including SafeDealRoom (www.safedealroom.com) and D-Risk IT (www.drisk.it). He regularly mentors and judges startups in accelerators such as MassChallenge and groups such as Angels Den in London. Long-distance running, being a dad, writing and cooking are his hobbies. 

Emma Li -

She graduated from HEC Grande Ecole class 2013 with major in Entrepreneurships. She then spent 1 year and half at Goldman Sachs IBD London within Restructuring advisory and distressed financing for EMEA. Since March 2015, private equity professional at Actis in London, a private equity fund focused on growth equity investments exclusively in Africa, China, Brazil and India. Part of the Consumer team with specific focus on the education sectors. Emma is a native speaker in Chinese and French and fluent in English
